About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Team Administrator to join them to support the property side of the business. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day business operations which includes making loans secured against property, sourcing residential and commercial construction projects, managing development and construction, real estate debt advisory and managing existing assets, tenants and agents.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with exposure to administrative experience and the property industry who would like to continue building their career in this field. It requires a self-motivated candidate who is willing to upskill their experience. You must be able to demonstrate discretion and professionalism on behalf of the business and be motivated to work in an entrepreneurial environment. In return, the company is happy to train and support the right candidate with the relevant professional development and to grow the role.

Requirements

You will be required to:

  • Support directors with various administrative tasks including:

    • correspondence and email management

    • responding to calls and other communications

    • scheduling and arranging meetings and travel admin support

  • Provide regular updates to the team and maintain consistent communication

  • Deal with all property-based administration in the first instance including:

    • liaising and dealing with building maintenance

    • liaising, and coordinating with contractors and the team

    • maintaining communication with all relevant stakeholders and professionals

    • liaising and handling insurance related matters and dealing with relevant administration

    • corresponding and coordinating with lawyers and managing all relevant documentation

  • Supporting the administration and coordination of construction projects

  • Tracking key dates

  • Proof reading

  • Finance related administration and budgets

  • Maintaining and updating the company files

  • Driving to and attending the UK sites as required (including sites outside of London)

  • Ad hoc tasks as required

 

Requirements & Desirable Qualities:

  • Prior experience in an administrative support role

  • Experience working in property or related industry

  • A valid UK driving licence (Car provided to drive to site locations) [ESSENTIAL]

  • Be comfortable driving in London and to other UK site locations as required [ESSENTIAL]

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written

  • A willingness and ability to grow into the role

  • Experience using MS Word and Excel etc.

  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving, self-starting and pro-active mindset

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

  • Be willing to work outside of usual office hours from time to time

  • Be able to work in the office in Central London at least 4 days per week
